Canadian rapper Drake, who made headlines earlier this year when he streamed Fortnite with Ninja, is now investing in gaming in a much bigger way.
Drake, along with entertainment business mogul Scooter Braun, have invested an undisclosed amount of money into the ESports brand "100 Thieves." The company was founded by former professional gamer Matthew "Nadeshot" Haag and Cleveland Cavaliers chairman Dan Gilbert.
"With Drake and Scooter's support, we're going to build a lasting brand on the back of the content and apparel that our fans have come to love, aggressively expand into more games, scale our apparel business, and build a world-class management team," Nadeshot said in a statement.
